Madhukar Dattatreya “Balasaheb” Deoras (1915–1996) was an Indian social and organizational leader and the third Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Born in Nagpur on 11 December 1915, he completed his education there, including a B.A. and LL.B. He joined the RSS at a young age and dedicated his life to its organizational work.

He served in several important organizational positions, including Sarkaryavah (General Secretary), before becoming Sarsanghchalak in 1973 following the death of M. S. Golwalkar. He led the organization until 1994.

Balasaheb Deoras is particularly remembered for emphasizing social harmony (Samajik Samrasta), social equality, removal of untouchability, and service to society. His 1974 address on social equality and Hindu consolidation became an important statement associated with his approach to social harmony.
