સ્વામી સહજાનંદ — બાલ ભારતી ટ્રસ્ટ

સ્વામી સહજાનંદ (જેઓ ભગવાન સ્વામિનારાયણ તરીકે પૂજાય છે) ૧૮મી-૧૯મી સદીના ભારતના એક મહાન આધ્યાત્મિક ગુરુ અને ક્રાંતિકારી સમાજ સુધારક હતા. તેમણે ગુજરાતમાં સ્વામિનારાયણ સંપ્રદાયની સ્થાપના કરી હતી. આધ્યાત્મિક જ્ઞાન આપવાની સાથે તેમણે સમાજમાં પ્રવર્તતા કુરિવાજો જેમ કે દૂધપીતી કરવી, સતી પ્રથા અને અંધશ્રદ્ધા નાબૂદ કરવા માટે અથાક પ્રયત્નો કર્યા હતા. તેમણે આપેલું ‘શિક્ષાપત્રી’ ગ્રંથ આજે પણ લાખો લોકોને સદાચાર, શુદ્ધતા અને ભક્તિમય જીવન જીવવાનો સાચો માર્ગ બતાવે છે. Swami Sahajanand (revered as Lord Swaminarayan) was a legendary 18th-19th century spiritual leader and a revolutionary social reformer of India. He established the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, leaving a profound impact on the cultural and spiritual landscape of Gujarat. Beyond spiritual teachings, he fought tirelessly against prevailing social evils like female infanticide, the Sati pratha, and superstition. His ultimate code of conduct, the 'Shikshapatri', continues to guide millions of followers toward a life of righteousness, purity, and devotion.
