ડૉ. હેડગેવાર – બાલ ભારતી ટ્રસ્ટ

Dr. Hedgewar (1889–1940) was an Indian physician, freedom fighter, and social reformer. In 1925, he founded the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in Nagpur, Maharashtra, with the vision of uniting and strengthening Hindu society. Before forming the RSS, he was deeply involved with the Indian National Congress and participated actively in anti-colonial movements against British rule. ડૉ. કેશવ બલીરામ હેડગેવાર (૧૮૮૯-૧૯૪૦) એક ભારતીય ચિકિત્સક (ડોક્ટર), સ્વાતંત્ર્ય સેનાની અને સામાજિક સુધારક હતા. તેમણે ૧૯૨૫માં નાગપુર, મહારાષ્ટ્ર ખાતે રાષ્ટ્રીય સ્વયંસેવક સંઘ (RSS) ની સ્થાપના કરી હતી, જેનો મુખ્ય ઉદ્દેશ્ય હિન્દુ સમાજને સંગઠિત અને રાષ્ટ્રભક્તિની ભાવનાથી મજબૂત કરવાનો હતો. RSS ની સ્થાપના પહેલાં તેઓ ઇન્ડિયન નેશનલ કોંગ્રેસ સાથે પણ જોડાયેલા હતા અને બ્રિટિશ શાસન સામેની લડતમાં સક્રિય ભાગ લીધો હતો.
