ભગવાન બુદ્ધ – બાલ ભારતી ટ્રસ્ટ

Siddhartha Gautama, popularly known as Gautama Buddha, was an ancient Indian ascetic, spiritual teacher, and philosopher who founded Buddhism. Born as a prince in Kapilavastu (present-day Nepal), he renounced his royal life to seek an end to human suffering. After attaining enlightenment under the Bodhi tree in Bodh Gaya, he spent the rest of his life preaching the path of the Middle Way, peace, and mindfulness. સિદ્ધાર્થ ગૌતમ, જેઓ ભગવાન બુદ્ધ તરીકે ઓળખાય છે, એક પ્રાચીન ભારતીય સંન્યાસી, આધ્યાત્મિક ગુરુ અને ફિલસૂફ હતા, જેમણે બૌદ્ધ ધર્મની સ્થાપના કરી હતી. કપિલવસ્તુના રાજકુમાર તરીકે જન્મેલા બુદ્ધે માનવ દુઃખનો અંત લાવવા માટે પોતાના વૈભવી વૈભવ અને રાજવી જીવનનો ત્યાગ કર્યો હતો. બોધિગયામાં બોધિવૃક્ષ નીચે જ્ઞાન (નિર્વાણ) પ્રાપ્ત કર્યા પછી, તેમણે સમગ્ર જીવન અહિંસા, કરુણા, અષ્ટાંગિક માર્ગ અને શાંતિનો સંદેશ ફેલાવવામાં વિતાવ્યું હતું.
